# Shared-text regression baseline review — 2026-09-10

The wrap-up promotes `scripts/fixtures/opf-examples-png.shared-text.sha256.json` as a **source-regression checkpoint**, not as approval to publish the package set or a claim that the gallery is polished. The historical shared-code baseline and published registry verification refs remain unchanged.

The candidate records 805 slides in 126 decks, source digest `3a1ed8ad00b30863b5852197a85602263a2238c613020fb891d933f86e124c4b`, quarter-scale PNG, pinned bundled fonts and no system fonts. It is the candidate preserved in [text-placement evidence](text-placement/README.md). Node 20 and 24 agree, and all 2,415 previous/current image hashes were independently verified there. Runtime changes since that evidence concern native test tooling only.

Review covered every slide in all 17 final overview sheets, following the individual milestone pair sheets and selected full-size/real-browser reviews recorded in the gallery-artwork, card, chart and accepted-text evidence. The changes retain offline artwork, shared card geometry, visible inherited chart/table labels, accepted heading sizes and measured text origins. The accepted-text outline milestone itself leaves all 805 default corpus rasters unchanged from its predecessor.

Known quality limitations remain: sparse cards/excessive whitespace, estimated-font rich-run gaps, missing external CSV/workbook chart content, unresolved photo/video placeholders and dense timeline/table slides. This checkpoint prevents accidental changes while those issues are fixed in reviewable milestones. It does not waive them or promote estimated-font rendering as the supported fidelity path. Measured-font preparation, exact-source preservation and remaining payload layout are continuing project goals.

Native text, chart editing and metric raster gates remain open as documented in [native-resume evidence](native-resume/README.md). Shared geometry, browser paint, editable DrawingML, real PowerPoint rendering and arbitrary round-tripping are separate claims. Linux/Windows agreement must be established by the wrap-up CI; a mismatch remains a failing check requiring inspection, not automatic baseline replacement.
